Job Description:
As a Production Supervisor, you will report directly to the Production Manager and take charge of the daily management of production. The Production Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring that production objectives are met within tight timescales and maintaining high manufacturing standards. This role requires confidence in delegating tasks, decision-making, and managing production issues promptly and effectively. Your attention to detail, knowledge of OEE, and ability to think outside the box will be crucial in this fast-paced environment.

You will ensure that KPIs are achieved, maintain a high standard of housekeeping, and manage quality, safety, and productivity issues. Experience in managing the first stage of disciplinary procedures and knowledge of Health & Safety (IOSH) is essential for the Production Supervisor. A background in FMCG is preferred but not required.

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in a supervisorial role is essential.
  • Experience of working in a fast passed manufacturing business e.g. food, chemical, automotive, pharmaceutical, packing.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and engage the team.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and ensure KPIs are consistently achieved.
  • Confident in decision-making, delegating tasks, and communicating effectively.
  • Knowledge of OEE and a proactive approach to solving production issues.
  • Experience in health & safety procedures (IOSH) and completing accident reports.
