A manufacturing company are looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to join their team on a permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a rapidly growing business and drive their team to the next level.

This role would suit someone from FMCG, Automotive or Chemical manufacturing background.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Supervising a team of Production Operators ensuring that they are working efficiently, safely and in line with necessary targets.
  • Health and safety of staff including risk assessments and accident investigations.
  • Quality performance working towards zero defect target by proactive quality measures and root cause analysis.
  • Management of staff and personal issues including disciplines, grievances, sickness absence, appraisals, and maintenance of holiday systems.
  • Production performance optimising output by efficiency improvement activities and staff performance management

Knowledge and Experience

  • Excellent communication skills written and verbal
  • Proven team leadership or management experience ideally within an automated setting
  • Must be a natural leader
  • Knowledge and experience in OEE and implementing continuous improvement ideas
  • Good organisational skills
  • The ability to manage busy workload and meet deadlines
  • Able to multitask
  • Experience of Continuous Improvement
