ABOUT THE ROLE
As an Activities Lead at our award winning client's care home, youll help to create a stimulating environment that enables them to deliver exceptional all-round care and support for our residents. Their ethos is all about celebrating life, so youll help to devise imaginative, fun and motivational activities that suit every interest and ability. An extremely rewarding role, part of your time as an Activities Lead will be spent getting to know the residents and their families before you create tailored activities programmes focused on maximising everyones wellbeing, independence and social engagement.
This position involves occasional weekend work and some evenings.
ABOUT YOU
Youll need to be warm, empathetic and personable to join us as an Activities Lead. Your organisational skills and driven mind-set mean you always get things done and make things happen. Meanwhile, your infectious enthusiasm and creative approach will inspire our residents and staff to get involved in activities both within the home and in the local community. You will have strong IT skills and experience of social media management.
Ideally, you will have experience in activities coordination within a care home setting. However, applicants from other relevant backgrounds will also be considered if they can demonstrate transferable skills, fresh and creative ideas, and a real passion and enthusiasm for the role.
A full, valid driving licence (UK, European, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
