Business AnalystLocation: Chester (Hybrid -1 day per week office based)Salary: c. £40,000At Axon Moore, we are thrilled to partner with a global financial planning and trust services business based in Chester in their search for a Business Analyst.In this role, you will report to the Senior Business Analyst and the Senior Project & Change Leader while working closely with a small, dynamic team of analysts and project managers. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive self-starter who thrives doing project-based work and is passionate about driving transformation within a global structure. You’ll play a key role in defining business requirements, process mapping, and contributing to cost-saving initiatives.The Candidate:
  • Financial Services Experience: Background in medium-sized companies.
  • Process Mapping: Proficient in analysing and improving business processes.
  • Requirements Gathering: Skilled in eliciting, documenting, and challenging business needs.
  • Operational Understanding: Knowledge of back-office functions and workflows.
  • Stakeholder Management: Experienced in building trust with stakeholders across countries and time zones.
  • System Knowledge: Familiar with workflow systems, technical administration, and solution design.
  • Remote Work: Effective in autonomous, remote collaboration with occasional travel to the Chester office (minimum once a fortnight).
  • Presentation Skills: Confident in presenting to senior stakeholders and receiving feedback.
  • Analytical Approach: Adaptable and logical, excelling in developing processes and templates.
What’s on Offer:
  • Salary: c. £40,000
  • Hours: 35 hours per week, with hybrid working (once a week in Chester).
  • Annual Leave: 23 days + bank holidays.
  • Pension: Up to 5% matched contributions after a 3-month probation period.
  • Private Healthcare: Available after a 3-month probation period.
