Properties Case Handler

Temp-Permanent, Full Time

Hours: 9.00 am - 5.30 pm (60-minute lunch break) or 9.00 am - 5.00 pm (30-minute lunch break)

Office-based role

£24,000 - £26,000 per year, with opportunities for additional monthly commission!

As a Properties Case Handler, you will:

  • Manage new cases from onboarding to resolution
  • Oversee your own case load with attention to detail
  • Engage in direct branch case reviews and administrative tasks
  • Drive income recovery through effective communication and negotiation
  • Produce both template and custom letters for varied situations
  • Keep the management team informed about case statuses
  • Collaborate with in-house solicitors for legal insights as necessary

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • A strong work ethic and meticulous attention to detail
  • An investigative mindset with problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent letter writing and communication skills
  • Good listening and negotiation skills
  • A confident and professional telephone demeanour
  • Creativity and the ability to think outside the box
  • Self-learning abilities and adaptability
  • Previous experience in a Recoveries or Collections role preferred
  • Familiarity with the properties industry
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of relevant legal principles

Familiarity with case management software and MS Office Suite is beneficial.
