My client, a market leading multidisciplinary Engineering and Planning Consultancy, is searching for a Senior Flood Risk Consultant to join the Team based in Chester.

It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background in Hydrology or Civil Engineering and have experience completing Flood Risk Assessment, Surface Water Management Plans and Drainage Strategies for Planning Applications. Ideally candidates will be close to Chartered status.

Candidates are also required to have experience completing or reviewing detailed Drainage Design for residential developments using Microdrainage or Causeway Flow.

It is beneficial for applicants to have experience completing hydraulic modelling.

As a Senior Consultant you will have the opportunity to work on varied projects spanning residential, commercial and retail projects for Private and Public Sector Clients and Local Authorities. You will be required to complete, review and amend Flood Risk Assessments, Flood Estimation, Drainage Strategies for Planning Applications and detailed SuDS design using Microdrainage and Causeway Flow.

You will also be required to complete Hydrological Assessments and review Hydraulic Modelling.
