Our client, a global pharmaceutical company, is currently looking for a first line IT Support with fluent/native German language skills to join their team in Chester on a full time, 12-month temporary basis (35 hours per week).

Extensive training and support will be provided to ensure a successful transition into this role. This means someone with similar experience is not essential; provided you have the ability to learn technical concepts with ease and have the linguistic capabilities, you could be considered for this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting internal customers with IT queries
  • Providing troubleshooting advice across hardware, software and internal applications
  • 1st line support tasks; troubleshooting tickets to resolution or escalation to 2nd line team

Requirements

  • Previous experience working in an IT support or customer service role particularly within the pharmaceutical/life sciences industry
  • Fluent in German
  • Ability to explain technical issues to non-technical internal customers
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Lives within 1 hour of Chester
