Customer Service Representative
32,000 - 35,000 per annum (depending on skills and abilities)
Permanent role
Working hours are Monday to Friday - 08:30-16:30
Additional benefits:
- Hybrid opportunity available after 6 months' probation (3 days at home and 2 in office)

The role:
Out client is recruiting a Customer Service Representative to work within the aerospace industry providing a challenging, rewarding and international work environment in a globally operating Group.
Responsibilities of the Customer Service Representative:
- Manages the communication between the Plant and the customer.
- Management of customer's order book through to accurate invoice payment.
- Manages and takes accountability for customers KPI's - is able to report and take decisions to drive improved customer results.
- Works closely with the Plants (Site Liaisons, Planning, Quality, Labs, Pricing Team and Logistics)
- Administers all orders and updates the ERP system as well as customer portal.
- Works with the relevant parties to ensure Contract Review is followed to the letter.
- Ensures all documents are properly located in the correct drives for further inspection or for audit related purposes.
- Implements credits/debits/rebates, working closely with Complaints Management teams.
The Candidate
The successfully appointed Customer Service Representativewill have the following skills and abilities:
- Background in customer service or supply chain or account management would be beneficial.
- Working knowledge and understanding of ERP systems would be useful.
- Team player with excellent negotiation and diplomacy skills.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Organised and detail oriented with the ability to work productively in a fast-paced environment.
- Good understanding of export compliance would be useful, but training will be provided.
