Administrator - Utilities Sector

Location: Chester

Salary: £23,000 per annum

Are you an exceptional Administrator with a passion for providing excellent customer service? Are you highly organised with excellent attention to detail? If so, our client, a leading organisation in the Utilities sector, is looking for an Administrator to join their team!

As an Administrator, you will provide crucial administrative support to the Utilities Manager and our client's wider business. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the effective and timely management of utilities services to their pubs. You will liaise with various internal and external stakeholders, including Business Development Managers and suppliers, to manage tenant changes and maintain an accurate utilities database.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and external parties to manage tenant changes through to completion.
  • Ensure accuracy of liability invoices and pass them to finance for processing and payment.
  • Manage 3rd party customer portals.
  • Assist in resolving customer and supplier queries.
  • Handle incoming post, emails, and phone calls, and manage general correspondence.

To excel in this role, you will need exceptional organisational skills, the ability to prioritise tasks, and work efficiently within tight timescales. Attention to detail is critical, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You should be self-motivated and able to work independently, while building strong relationships across internal departments. Strong customer service instincts and a proactive and results-driven attitude are essential.

Our client is looking for an ambitious individual who is confident, quick to learn, and computer literate in Excel, Word, and Outlook. While knowledge of the Utilities sector is preferable, it is not essential. Full training will be provided.
