I am working in partnership with a well-known, credible, and established business based in Cheshire who are currently looking for a talented and exceptional Group Executive Assistant to the CEO. This is an incredibly varied, challenging, and fast paced role where you will play a crucial role in providing high-level administrative support and managing the day-to-day operations of the CEO’s office across all Group companies.

As a key point of contact for all Group Executives, Investors and internal and external stakeholders, the incumbent must be able to operate at all levels of experience and have the flexibility and passion to manage the CEOs office always ensuring a seamless coordination and efficient workflow. This position requires a proactive approach, exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality while handling sensitive information.

Key accountabilities & responsibilities

  • Manage the CEO’s schedule, including calendar management, coordinating meetings, and arranging travel itineraries, ensuring optimal time management and prioritisation of tasks.
  • Act as a liaison between the CEO and internal/external stakeholders, screening and handling communications, managing emails, and responding on behalf of the CEO where appropriate.
  • Prepare meeting materials, agendas, presentations, and minutes, ensuring accuracy and timely distribution.
  • Be the liaison point between all EPG company MDs/Executives, freeing up the CEO wherever possible to focus on strategy.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, including board members, senior executives, customers (where appropriate), and external contacts.
  • Act as a representative of the CEO in their absence, representing their interests and maintaining a professional and positive image both internally and externally.
  • Facilitate effective communication with collaboration across departments, ensuring information flow and alignment with organisational objectives.
  • Co-ordinate and oversee special projects, initiatives and strategic priorities assigned by the CEO, working closely with relevant teams to ensure successful execution.
  • Conduct research, collect data, follow up on action items, and provide regular updates to the CEO and other stakeholders.
  • Draft, proofread, and edit correspondence, reports, presentations, and other documents to ensure clarity, accuracy, and adherence to the CEO’s style and preferences.
  • Manage the flow of information into and out of the CEO’s office, including disseminating internal communications from the CEO, managing incoming requests, and preparing outgoing communications.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and relevant news to provide timely updates and insights to the CEO and Group executives.
  • Proactively develop and manage a calendar of internal communications activities for the CEO and Group executives.
  • Draw up a CEO social media protocol and assume responsibility for CEO’s LinkedIn profile management and sharing of/commenting on external stakeholder posts.
  • Handle highly confidential and sensitive information with utmost discretion, always maintaining confidentiality and professional ethics.
  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of EPG policies, practices, and industry regulations to ensure compliance and confidentiality.
