Opportunity for a Paraplanner still looking to learn and develop. This business has expanded healthily the last few years and this growth is continuing, adding a further Advisor and in turn putting extra resource into the support team.

  • Job Title/Location: Paraplanner, Chester
  • Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 + generous pension contribution + PMI + study support
  • Requirements: Paraplanning experience in an IFA/Wealth Management environment, ideally Level 4 Qualified
  • Role Snapshot: Work alongside Advisers, develop a client financial plan, perform periodic client reviews, suitability reports, collate recommendations and build relationships with Providers

The Company: Our client is an established IFA business that has expanded in recent years and again this opening is due to adding another Advisor to the business and in turn expanding the support team. Our client focuses on pensions, IHT and various investment portfolios, providing a highly personalised financial planning service.

The Role: The Paraplanner role comes with a wide-ranging set of responsibilities, including:

  • Develop a financial plan for new & existing clients liaising with the Adviser
  • Perform periodic reviews of client circumstances to identify any potential planning needs
  • Preparation of illustrations and key features
  • Administering fund switches and portfolio rebalances
  • Prepare suitability reports and write recommendations
  • Process new business applications, case managing to completion
  • Completing compliance documentation and spreadsheets as necessary

Skills / Experience Required: For this Paraplanner role, you will ideally have at least 2 years paraplanning experience and be Level 4 Qualified, however there is some flexibility on that. You should be strong with MS Office, a confident communicator, professional and willing to learn/develop further.

Additional Information: The salary for the Paraplanner role is £38,000 - £45,000 with a generous company pension contribution, PMI benefits and study support in addition.
