Finance Sales Executive

Salary:
£30,000-£40,000 basic plus commission


The Company:

A UK-based, FCA-regulated, Hybrid Lender that provides capital to support SMEs and mid-sized businesses through flexible lending products. With a team of 150 specialists, the company manages a loan portfolio exceeding £500 million and has originated £1.5 billion in assets since 2018. They offer loans and asset finance to SMEs via both direct and broker channels, with an average transaction size of around £50,000.


Job Role:

The Direct Sales team aims to increase new business, identify external opportunities, and maximise in-house cross-selling. The Sales Executive will generate sales opportunities from new and existing data, manage inbound inquiries, and pursue all available sales opportunities both internally and externally.



Key Responsibilities:

Present the company to potential clients, mainly via phone
Convert sales opportunities from the lead generation team and marketing platforms
Generate new business through CRM data
Develop client relationships by providing excellent customer service
Meet productivity and sales targets set by the company
Ensure compliance with FCA conduct rules
Maintain a sales pipeline and complete necessary administration in internal systems
Create and manage client quotes and proposals
Contribute positively to the team environment


Experience Required:

12-24 months of experience in a high-performing sales environment
Experience in financial services (Insurance, Lending, Brokering, B2B) is advantageous
Salesforce experience preferred but not essential
Computer literacy and eagerness to learn
