Fire Safety Engineer (Freelance)

Unite People are seeking a knowledgeable and qualified Fire Safety Engineer for a short-term project in the Chester, Northwest area.

The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing a passive fire wall head design for a large commercial live compartmentation project and for presenting opinion and alternative design suggestion if required to the client.

• £500 per day outside IR35
• 2-3 weeks’ worth of remote work
• Potential further self-employed Fire Engineering works with same client to follow

Requirements:

• Proven track record for the technical delivery of fire engineering projects.
• Preferably hold a degree in Fire Engineering or equivalent
• Detailed understanding/ knowledge of UK regulations and standards (e.g. ADB, BS9999, RRFSO, PAS 79, PD 7974, etc.)
