This transformational vision opens up unique and exciting opportunities to build a dynamic, energising, and rewarding career.

And right now, we’re looking for a Senior HSE Advisor – Project Lead based at our Capenhurst site. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) projects.

What Will Your Day Look Like?

Your Role:

You’ll be the go-to expert for HSE matters, providing guidance across all aspects of the project lifecycle. Your primary focus will be ensuring that all activities align with our HSE objectives, from advising on health and safety to overseeing environmental protection and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote a proactive safety culture and integrate HSE objectives into project activities.
  • Drive HSE compliance by offering specialist advice and support to project teams and contractors.
  • Lead the implementation of effective HSE strategies, ensuring best practices and legislative adherence.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance safety performance and ensure successful project delivery.

What do you need to be great at this role?

  • Degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional qualifications (e.g., NEBOSH).
  • Proven experience in high-hazard environments, particularly within the construction sector.
  • Strong leadership in HSE, with a track record of successful project delivery.
  • Expertise in integrated management systems and HSE improvement programs.

What can you expect from us?

More than just a job, we offer a future. More than just a place to work, we provide an opportunity to prosper. Urenco powers the possibilities that let you make the most of your day to day and shape your own tomorrow.

We reward your contribution with industry-leading pay – and that's just the start.

An exceptional range of physical and mental wellbeing, financial, and lifestyle benefits flex around the things you find most important in life. Like the idea of travelling overseas? We can make that happen too. And our annual global awards bring us together to celebrate our outstanding work achievements.

We’re well aware that being the best company possible starts with helping you become the best you can be in your career.

We’re also committed to helping you achieve work-life balance. So you can count on us to deliver the personal development resources you need to gain new qualifications, learn new skills, and open new possibilities.

  • Annual leave of 27 days per annum.
  • A diverse range of family friendly policies.
  • A generous bonus scheme.
  • A defined contribution pension scheme; with up to 16% employer’s contribution.
  • Flexible benefits package; including life assurance and income protection. In addition, you’ll have an opportunity to purchase additional benefits that suit your lifestyle and take advantage of tax and NI savings.
  • Education and training; we take pride in helping people learn and develop by supporting, accelerating and directing your learning. As well as the completion of mandatory health and safety courses, training packages will be offered to meet your specific needs.

Please be aware that this role is subject to security clearance medical, drug and alcohol testing prior to start.
