Are you a proactive HR Manager looking for a hands-on role where you can make a real impact? Join a small but growing business in Chester, where you'll lead and develop the HR function while managing a small team.

About the Role

As the HR Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the company's people strategy while remaining hands-on with day-to-day HR operations. Reporting directly to the Owner, this role offers the opportunity to drive change, implement HR best practices, and support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

? Lead and manage the HR team, ensuring a high level of service across the business? Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals? Provide expert advice on employee relations, performance management, and HR compliance? Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies? Drive engagement and company culture initiatives? Ensure policies and procedures are up to date and in line with employment legislation? Support training and development to enhance employee performance

About You

? Strong generalist HR experience in a leadership role? Ability to balance strategic thinking with a hands-on approach? Experience managing or mentoring a small HR team? Knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices? Proactive, adaptable, and able to influence at all levels? CIPD Level 5 or above
