Are you a proactive and people-focused HR professional looking for your next challenge? We're partnering with a small but growing business based in Chester to find an experienced HR Advisor to join their collaborative HR team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

About the Role:As an HR Advisor, you'll play a key role in supporting managers and employees across the business, providing expert guidance on HR matters and helping to shape people processes as the company continues to grow. Working closely with the HR Manager and wider team, you'll gain exposure to a broad range of HR activities, making this a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day HR advice and support to managers and employees.
  • Assist with employee relations cases, including absence management, disciplinary, and grievance processes.
  • Support recruitment processes, from advertising roles to coordinating interviews and onboarding.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Assist with training and development initiatives.
  • Support ongoing HR projects aimed at enhancing company culture and processes.

About You:

  • Previous experience in an HR Advisor role (or similar) is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and eager to contribute to a growing team.
  • CIPD qualification (or working towards) is desirable.
