Our client, a leading organisation in the IT industry, is seeking a talented Service Desk Analyst who is fluent in German and has excellent customer service skills. As a member of their Specialty Service Desk, you will provide technical and application support to their global team.

Responsibilities:

  • Accept and handle incoming calls, chats, and tickets, redirecting to relevant support groups as needed.
  • Provide IT support to employees and partners in EMEA and globally.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex application and business process issues.
  • Utilise the Knowledgebase to address inquiries and contribute to its expansion.
  • Act as a SME/POC for other team members.
  • Participate in testing, upgrades, and internal projects.
  • Occasionally assist with translation reviews.

What you bring to the team:

  • Native or near-native fluency in German, with good command of English.
  • Strong troubleshooting and research skills.
  • Ability to explain technical information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to prioritise and handle multiple tasks.
  • Adherence to Service Desk processes and procedures.
  • Positive and flexible team player.

Qualifications/Experiences:

  • Minimum High School Diploma; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Basic understanding of ITIL Framework and ITSM.
  • Prior experience in technical support or a Service Desk environment.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and Windows.
  • Experience supporting Life Sciences is a plus.

In addition, candidates must be willing to:

  • Work flexible hours, including rotating shifts.
  • Work from the office at least 50% of the time.
  • Occasionally work on Bank Holidays.
