NMS Recruit is partnering with a highly respected Accountancy firm based in Chester to secure a Payroll Administrator. This is a full-time opportunity for a strategic financial leader.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee weekly and monthly payroll processing for a portfolio of clients.
  • Gather necessary information from clients to ensure accurate payroll calculations.
  • Process payroll data and generate pay slips.
  • Notify clients of PAYE and NIC liabilities.
  • Arrange BACS payments for employees.
  • Ensure compliance with pension filing obligations.
  • Conduct regular reviews to ensure payroll accuracy.
  • Address client queries and provide assistance with payroll matters.
  • Assist in setting up new payroll processes for clients.
  • Assist the Payroll Manager with marketing and promotional activities.
  • Handle various payroll projects, including statutory changes.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Previous experience in a payroll role is essential
  • Bureau experience is helpful
  • Good organisational skills
  • The ability to work on your own initiative
  • Personal drive and energy
  • Ability to work with a minimum of supervision
