Proactive Personnel are recruiting for a finance assistant to work for a fantastic engineering company who offer security and progression.

This role would suit a capable individual with strong credit control experience and good bookkeeping knowledge. Someone who can connect, and build confidence and rapport with stakeholders (customers, internal & external sales teams, and wider finance team).

You will receive - Finance Assistant

  • Salary of £25,000
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • Full time, permanent work
  • 35 hours per week - Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 17:00pm, Friday 8:30am - 12:30pm
  • Company Pension scheme

Job responsibilities - Finance Assistant

  • Processing of cash receipts including forecasting
  • Processing of credit notes and manual invoices as required
  • Collection of outstanding debt - including more complex construction debtors
  • Reporting on outstanding debt
  • Maintaining positive working relationships and communication with external and internal customers and other stakeholders
  • Posting of finance transactions and maintaining records
  • Supportive assistance across the wider finance team and ledgers as required
  • Undertaking any other duties which may be requested by the Management Accountant (full training will be provided)
