Axon Moore are supporting a fast paced organisation based in South Yorkshire in the appointment of an Interim Financial Controller to support them through a period of growth. Working closely with the Senior Leadership Team, you will be responsible for managing the organisation's financial performance and overseeing the accounting operations. This is a hands-on and varied role supporting the finance team and contributing to a number of projects. The key roles and responsibilities for this person will include:
  • Oversee the accounting activities 
  • Analysis of financial information including variance analysis and commentary
  • Co-ordinating auditing processes and liaising with external auditors
  • Ensure all reconciliations are completed
  • Review of internal controls. 
  • Process improvement and driving efficiencies
  • Supporting on a number of projects.
The ideal candidate requirements for this role will include the following:
  • Qualified accountant 
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills 
  • Able to interrogate financial data
This is a 3 - 6 month assignment and offers an immediate start.It offers Hybrid working (3 days on site) and is outside IR35.If you feel you have the required skills and experience for this role, please apply ASAP.
