• Managing a portfolio of limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
• Preparing statutory accounts and tax computations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards
• Reviewing work completed by junior team members and providing constructive feedback
• Preparing VAT returns, tax filings, and management accounts for clients across a range of industries
• Liaising directly with clients, acting as a key point of contact for financial queries and strategic advice
• Assisting in the training and mentoring of junior team members
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and keeping up to date with financial legislation
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes and add value to client businesses

• ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified
• Significant experience working in an accountancy practice
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting, tax, and compliance regulations
• Experience preparing accounts, tax computations, and VAT returns
• Excellent client relationship management skills, with the ability to communicate financial information clearly
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple deadlines
• A proactive, problem-solving approach to client work
• Experience working with healthcare sector clients is highly desirable

• £38,000 to £48,000 per annum
