Contracts Manager | Chesterfield | Hybrid | Up to £80,000 + Company Car/Allowance
Situation:
Due to an increasing number of successful bids and tenders, a Contracts Manager who has extensive experience in Geotechnical projects is required to join the UK's leader in geotechnical solutions.
This is a great opportunity to operate across various sectors, including Commercial, Industrial, Infrastructure, Power and Residential, providing you with a niche set of expertise ranging from ground improvement solutions, to piling and earth retention fixes. You will be responsible for:
- Overseeing the project deliverables by monitoring outputs and generating daily project reports.
- Building and maintaining client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact.
- Collaborating with the commercial and estimating teams to ensure effective communication regarding availability and commitments.

Essential Criteria
- Previous experience in a Project Management or Contracts Management role (Essential)
- Proven experience with Soil Nailing, Grouting, Mini-Piling, Anchors, Slurry Walling (Essential)
- Problem solver with an analytical mind – often thinking outside the box to resolve issues (Essential)
- Happy to travel to site circa 1 day a week (could be down South) (Essential)
- Experience of working on large infrastructure projects (Essential)
- CSCS card and full UK driving licence (Essential)
- Degree educated, preferably within Civil Engineering or Geology related fields (Desirable)
Salary/Package:
Position: Contracts/Project Manager
Location: Chesterfield
Salary: £65-80k plus benefits/package (also with car or car allowance)
Working Hours:
Contractual hours: Monday to Thursday 8.00am-4.30pm. Friday 8.00am-4.30pm.
Hybrid – 2 days in office/1 day likely on site/2 days home – flexible
