About the Role

MBF Recruitment is delighted to be working on behalf of a respected financial services firm in Chesterfield to find a Mortgage Advisor. This role is ideal for a customer-focused professional who takes pride in delivering ailored mortgage advice but is not interested in the pressures which are usually involved (no sales, targets, prospecting, business development etc). You will support a Senior Mortgage Adviser in managing existing client relationships, helping to review and renew fixed-rate mortgage arrangements, and providing exceptional service throughout the mortgage process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, delivering professional and friendly service.
  • Research and prepare mortgage proposals using industry-leading sourcing systems.
  • Ensure compliance by maintaining accurate documentation and client files.
  • Assist with preparing and submitting new business applications.
  • Use tools like Xplan, Mortgage Brain, and Genovo to support effective communication and operations.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing client inquiries.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance administrative efficiency and service delivery.

  • Qualifications: Relevant mortgage qualifications.
  • Skills: Strong written and verbal communication, excellent organization, and attention to detail.
  • Approach: Customer-focused, friendly, and positive attitude.
  • Teamwork: Able to work both independently and collaboratively, with a willingness to develop skills and support colleagues.
