We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) team at our vibrant primary school in Chesterfield. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual passionate about early years education to make a meaningful impact in a nurturing and engaging learning environment.

Key Requirements:

  • Qualifications: You must hold a Level 3 qualification that is valid for EYFS ratios.
  • Experience: Proven experience working within a nursery or EYFS setting is essential.
  • Skills: A calm, nurturing, and patient approach with a comprehensive understanding of the standards required in early years care and education.
  • Availability: Must be available to work from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the class teacher in planning and implementing activities that meet the learning and developmental needs of the children.
  • Foster a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Observe and assess children progress, reporting any concerns to the teacher.
  • Build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents/carers.
