Sporty Teaching Assistant with Duke of Edinburgh Responsibilities

Location: ChesterfieldPosition: Full-Time, Immediate Start (Potential for Permanent)

Are you passionate about outdoor activities, sports, and supporting young people in achieving their goals? We are looking for an energetic, Sporty Teaching Assistant with responsibilities for the Duke of Edinburgh Award programme to join our team in Chesterfield.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students in the classroom and during physical education sessions.
  • Lead and coordinate activities for the Duke of Edinburgh Award, including outdoor expeditions.
  • Encourage and motivate students to develop essential skills through sports and outdoor activities.
  • Assist with planning and facilitating events, trips, and expeditions.

Desirable Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in outdoor activities and/or instructing (advantageous).
  • A passion for sports and physical education.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and mentor students.

Essential Requirements:

  • Current driving license with business insurance (essential for transporting students and equipment to events).
