Due to continued expansion, we're recruiting an experienced General Operative to join our Chesterfield based client. The focus of this role is to complete all General Operative tasks to a high standard, by constantly challenging the status quo and be at the forefront of evolution, continuous improvement, quality and health, safety & welfare.
Duties:
- Ensure area is prepared for start up to include correct labels and packaging.
- Ensure quality guidelines are followed for all areas.
- Work within the ethos and standards of the company.
- Work in all areas of the factory.
- Keep good housekeeping standards in all areas.
- Keep up to date knowledge of all products.
- Ensure waste is discarded in appropriate manner.
- Follow work instructions in all areas.
- Ensure you comply with Health & Safety regulations.
- Undertake any other tasks appropriate to the position, as requested by management.
Requirements:
- Customer focused attitude.
- Team player who will work with others to achieve company goals.
- Good eye for detail.
- A willingness to learn and develop as the department expands and the ability to work on their own initiative is essential.
Working hours: Monday to Friday for alternating shifts: 6am - 2pm & 2pm - 10pm, and also night shift available Monday - Thursday: 9.45pm - 6.15am.
Salary:11.54 per hour + shift allowance.
This is a Full time, Permanent position.
