Our Client, a UK leading consulting business with building acoustics expertise across the country and abroad currently has a requirement for a Graduate Acoustic Consultant to join their office near Chesterfield. This is an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified Acoustic Consultant with a leaning towards building acoustics to rapidly develop their skills within a well developed team. The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of major projects in the private and public development sectors in the UK and overseas.


Qualifications:
Qualified to BEng/BSc level or equivalent
IOA Membership
Full driving license

Experience
Thorough understanding of noise and vibration principles, current standards, guidance and best practice.
Proven track record of business development.
Ability to demonstrate effective project and people management.
Good interpersonal and communication skills, self motivation, organised and an
aptitude to advise team members from other professions/technical backgrounds.
Technically competent and IT proficient.

Duties
Overall project management responsibilities for projects of various sizes.
Noise Impact Assessments and Vibration Assessments.
Provide advice on Sound Insulation and Architectural Acoustic Design.
Planning and Noise Assessments for residential developments.
Proven technical ability in terms of problem solving and analytical thinking.
Ability to manage time, resources and projects effectively.
Develop and secure new business, negotiating with clients and contractors to develop existing relationships and to forge new business relationships
