- Following up on quotations to secure orders or determine reason for loss of order
- Reviewing open customer order reports and act on open items
- Obtaining quotes from vendors
- Resolving invoice disputes
- Increasing orders by suggesting related items, explaining features, and checks customer’s buying history
- Owning, qualifying and developing opportunities passed from marketing, outside sales, and national accounts (training and support given)
- Reporting industry trends, competitive pricing and customer feedback to management?
- Knowledge and experience in sales and sales administration required
- Product knowledge in fasteners, adhesives, c-class components and engineering consumables preferred
- Familiar with Microsoft Office, and ability to perform basic computer skills
- Intermediate Excel skills required
- Ability to work independently with supervision
