Stock & Purchasing Controller

Location: Chesterfield
Salary: 24,000 per annum
Full-Time, Permanent

Are you detail-oriented with experience in stock control and purchasing? We are looking for a Stock & Purchasing Controller to join our clients team and ensure the smooth management of stock and procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage stock control systems using Microsoft D365
Place and manage purchase orders for stock, consumables, and special items
Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely procurement and order fulfilment
Place and manage orders for Maintenance and Cleaning Departments as required
Report weekly and monthly stock balances
Conduct PI (Perpetual Inventory) checks and investigate major variances=
Process daily stock transfers, including production items
Handle general stock administration and assist with company projects
Ensure supplier quality issues are reported and resolved
Maintain accurate and complete records, including stock levels, forecasts, and board reports

Requirements;

Experience in stock control, purchasing, or supply chain management
Proficiency in Microsoft D365 or similar stock management systems
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines
Good communication and teamwork abilities
