The Role

To assist in the planning and implementation of appropriate Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental policies and procedures and associated systems, in conjunction with the group standard.

•Help ensure that the Company maintains a Health and Safety system to satisfy the Group H & S audit requirements.

•Help ensure that the Company maintains approval and appropriate certification and co-ordinate the planning and action necessary to achieve (ISO 14001,ISO 9001 & BRCGS for Food Safety).

•To Coordinate and manage the Quality systems procedures and processes to ensure that Company maintains compliance and manages customer complaints in a timely and effective manner.

•Liaise with all departments to discuss Quality problems, responsible for determining action required to ensure Quality standards are achieved, and resolving problems.

•Meet representative from customers to discuss Quality problems and specifications and to discuss and agree actions required

•Assist Investigating/recording incidents, accidents, complaints and cases of ill health

•Manage risk assessments and site inspections ensuring that equipment is installed correctly/safely

•Identifying potential hazards / determining ways of reducing risks

•Providing health and safety meetings and training courses for employees

•Keeping records of inspection findings and producing reports that suggest improvements.
