- Support the HR Manager with daily HR operations and assist colleagues across the business.
- Manage personnel records and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Handle payroll processes and manage employee attendance and sickness records.
- Play an active role in recruitment and onboarding of new team members.
- Conduct exit interviews, return-to-work meetings, and address employee queries.
- Act as a First Aider and Health & Safety representative.
- Ensure HR documentation is up-to-date and compliant with employment laws.
- Stay informed about current employment legislation and HR best practices.
- Have 4+ years of HR experience, ideally in a law firm.
- Hold CIPD Level 3/Certificate in People Practice (or working towards Level 5).
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrate excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Have a proactive, flexible approach to problem-solving and multi-tasking.
- Show a strong sense of discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
