Adecco Public Sector are delighted to partner exclusively with their well respected regional Public Sector client to identify an IT Project Officer to join their team on an initial 3 month contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward thinking, ambitious Public Sector organisation at a time of growth and transformation.

The role focuses on supporting the Project Manager responsible for the successful migration of current and new staff members to a new and independent Microsoft 365 platform. This new Microsoft tenant will contain all the current 365 applications, configuration, permissions, data and documents held in the current Microsoft tenant solution.

Key duties of the role include:

  • Support the Project Manager to deliver the required outputs and outcomes to achieve a successful migration.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing activity including, testing documentation - scenarios, scrips/checklists, testing sessions, results analysis, reporting and monitoring issue resolution.
  • Provide advice and guidance to users on Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Support the development of migration - user guidance, processes and communications for go live and post go live activity.
  • Facilitating stakeholder engagement through meetings, workshops and effective communications.

We're looking for the candidates to possess the below experience:

  • Experience of supporting IT projects through the project delivery life-cycle.
  • Experience of IT system delivery to users in a public sector environment.
  • Experience of IT systems testing with end users, documenting outcomes and feeding back results.
  • Experience of change management.
