Maintenance Engineer (Nights)

Inspire Resourcing Ltd are recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to work for this highly reputable engineering company whose head office is located in the heart of Chesterfield.

This is an excellent opportunity for those with multi-skilled engineering experience who want to become a Maintenance Engineer or for those who already have experience of being aMaintenance Engineer.

This role is based on a permanent night shift Monday to Friday – Training will be conducted on a day shift prior to moving onto nights.

Duties to include: -

• Working on a permanent night shift as lead maintenance engineer.
• Carry out planned maintenance on all machinery across site including mechanical and electrical repairs and refurbishments.
• Respond to ad-hoc breakdowns.
• Ensure all equipment is regularly inspected and tested for safe running of the site.
• Working alongside the production team as required.
• Greet and supervise visitors/contractors as required.

To apply for the role of Maintenance Engineer you will ideally:

• Highly skilled and experienced in electrical and mechanical engineering.
• Previous experience working in an engineering environment would be beneficial.
• Experience working on motors, drives, gears and electrical drawings.
• Self-motivated and proactive in their work.
• Experience keeping records of work carried out, equipment used.

Pay rate - £23 per hour + annual bonus.

Working hours – Monday to Friday.

Location – Chesterfield.
