Payroll Administrator - Full-Time

Location: Chesterfield (Hybrid, 3 days in office) Salary: £27,000 - £33,000 per annum, depending on experience

Francesca’s Recruitment Ltd is looking for a talented Payroll Specialist to join our client's award-winning team in Chesterfield. This is a permanent role with excellent benefits and a supportive work environment.

Key Duties:

  • Handle a full range of payroll duties (annual, quarterly, monthly, weekly)

  • Process end-to-end payroll for UK employees

  • Submit Real Time Information (RTI) to HMRC

  • Manage End of Year processing, reconciliations, and P60 issuance

  • Calculate statutory deductions and administer employee pension schemes

  • Ensure compliance with UK payroll regulations, tax laws, and pension auto-enrolment

  • Maintain confidentiality and data protection standards

Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a busy UK payroll function, preferably in a payroll bureau

  • Strong knowledge of UK payroll processes, tax regulations, and pension legislation

  • Proficiency in payroll software and MS Office, particularly Excel

  • Excellent attention to detail, organisational, and time management skills

  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
