We are working a Specialist SME Civil Engineering Contractor who are looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial team,
Responsibilities:
- Analysis of contracts (NEC, JCT, FIDIC) to identify Risk and Opportunity
- Support the business in contractual and commercial matters and to ensure that all projects attain their full commercial potential.
- Commercial responsibility for the day-to-day performance and governance of the key and high-profile projects and clients within the business
- Maximise monthly valuations and variation valuations, ensure timely submission and manage assessment and approval processes.
- Writing of reports and presentation to Senior Management Team
- Management and mentorship of 2 Surveyors
- Involvement with tender team
- Commercial Management of projects and packages up to 5 million
