Empowering Learning are a market leading education recruitment company. We are working in partnership with a number of large Secondary Academies in Chesterfield who are looking to engage regular General Cover Teachers to support across the whole school. It will be a full time, ongoing position and there will be a requirement to deliver pre-planned lessons in an engaging and constructive manner to achieve the best learning outcomes for students of all abilities.

This is a supply role, however with this schools needs could easily be a full-time cover within one setting, we are seeking an outstanding candidate to represent Empowering Learning as a professional Supply Teacher. The successful candidate can expect to work in challenging and thriving environments, with support from the permanent staff team around them.

The job * The school is looking for someone who is passionate about teaching and learning.* To be versatile in your approach and have the ability to think on your feet and be adaptable.* To provide outstanding teaching for learning which meets the needs?of?all students. * To provide feedback on each lesson to the absent teacher.* To support the school?in the implementation?of?agreed whole school policies and initiatives. The successful candidate will * Hold a teaching qualification (QTS) * Have outstanding teaching practice.* Have a strong background of leading on behaviour.* Have experience of implementing a range of strategies to raise student behaviour standards, and pastoral care provision with evidence of success.* Contribution to impact on the quality of learning and teaching and curriculum.* Have experience of high-quality pupil tracking and feedback practices.
