We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Educational Needs (SEN) Specialist Learning Support Assistant to join our supportive and thriving team at a well-established two-form entry primary school in Chesterfield. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with additional needs.
Key Responsibilities:-
Provide tailored support to children with additional needs, including ADHD and ASD, both in the classroom and during interventions.

Assist pupils in accessing all aspects of the curriculum effectively.

Undertake targeted interventions with small groups or individual pupils to support their learning and development.

Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment.

Monitor and record pupil's progress, providing feedback to staff and parents as required.

Promote positive behaviour and support the emotional well-being of the children in your care.

Experience working with children with additional needs, specifically ADHD and ASD.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Patience, empathy, and a commitment to promoting inclusively.

Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs.

A proactive and flexible approach to supporting children's learning.
