Supply Chain Coordinator

Inspire Resourcing are currently recruiting a Supply Chain Coordinator on behalf of our client based in Chesterfield.

Main Duties:

  • Managing our European & Far East suppliers that you are assigned to, which will include but not limited to:
    • Order processing.
    • Shipments & transport
    • Discrepancies
    • Data control
    • Issues List & follow up
    • Weekly reviews
  • Chasing for confirmations and checking and updating our internal tracking system at all points of the shipment until goods received.
  • Communicating to the wider business on issues or high-profile intakes.
  • Management of product specification sheets and issue to suppliers.
  • Arranging quality inspections and working directly with suppliers to overcome any quality issues before signing off for shipment.
  • Arranging shipments with freight forwarders and tracking to door.
  • Setting up New Product items and responsible for all elements of data control.
  • Manage the supply chain to agreed lead times, MOQ’s, OTIF’s and any urgent requirements for the business.
  • Working with suppliers directly to solves issues and find solutions to supply.
  • Controlling quality related stock issues from the suppliers you manage.
  • Ensuring system data is correct and accurate for the suppliers you manage.
  • Working as part of the Purchasing & Planning team to progress the department in all areas.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar supply chain role
  • Good MS Office Skills

Package:

Up to £30k, 23 days holiday plus bank holidays, pension, progression, on site parking, free tea & coffee, on site canteen.
