Commissioning Engineer

Are you currently looking for work as a commissioning engineer? Have you got water treatment experience? If so then read on and learn about the roles, responsibilities and rewards of being a commissioning engineer!

As a commissioning engineer you will work on a water treatment site at the end of AMP7 and the start of AMP8. you will ensure that framework structure and safety are up to standard and within all guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing MEICA related projects.
  • Health and safety, Environment and quality (SHEQ).
  • Demonstrating safety excellence by ensuring KPI and KPM. measurements are the best in the STW region.
  • Liaising with clients and suppliers/subcontractors to ensure equipment is set up and commissioned before each project.
  • Making sure all equipment is set up and FAT tested and snag free before any usage.
  • Ensure technical input and expertise is best utilized.
  • Timed production and regular reports to management.
  • Building relationships with client organizations, specifically service delivery.
  • Carrying out training and supervision.
  • Able to write commissioning plans and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • First aid.
  • CSCS card.
  • Water/Water waste experience
  • Extensive experience within commissioning.
