On behalf of our client, ITS Building People (Southampton) are searching for an experienced No. 1 Site Manager to join one of the largest UK house builders on a development in Chichester.


Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Implement actions to mitigate risks & maximise opportunities.
  • Manage preliminaries
  • Maintain accurate site record, daily diaries &weekly progress reports.
  • Review design drawings for build-ability and co-ordination. Raise RFI where appropriate
  • Manage the flow of sub-contractors design information as delegated by the Project Manager
  • Assist the Project Manager to produce and monitor the MIRS
  • Manage site labour and maintain accurate records
  • Monitor & understand programme, discuss and agree recovery programmes with the Project Manager

Essential Qualifications/ experience required/ specific requirements for the role:

  • NHBC experience
  • Strong technical understanding
  • Commercial awareness
  • Innovative thinker and problem solver
  • SMSTS, First Aid & CSCS
  • Management level NVQ or equivalent
