On behalf of our client, ITS Building People (Southampton) are searching for an experienced No. 1 Site Manager to join one of the largest UK house builders on a development in Chichester.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Implement actions to mitigate risks & maximise opportunities.
- Manage preliminaries
- Maintain accurate site record, daily diaries &weekly progress reports.
- Review design drawings for build-ability and co-ordination. Raise RFI where appropriate
- Manage the flow of sub-contractors design information as delegated by the Project Manager
- Assist the Project Manager to produce and monitor the MIRS
- Manage site labour and maintain accurate records
- Monitor & understand programme, discuss and agree recovery programmes with the Project Manager
Essential Qualifications/ experience required/ specific requirements for the role:
- NHBC experience
- Strong technical understanding
- Commercial awareness
- Innovative thinker and problem solver
- SMSTS, First Aid & CSCS
- Management level NVQ or equivalent
