Administrator / Note Taker

Are you ready to make a difference in adult services and health? We are seeking a skilled Administrator / Note Taker to provide exceptional support in delivering high-quality services that meet the needs of our community.

As an Administrator / Note Taker, you will report to a Team Leader and play a vital role in delivering an efficient and customer-focused administrative service. Your responsibilities will include attending and taking notes at complex, often sensitive or confidential meetings, arranging large-scale events, co-ordinating statutory panels, and preparing reports, agendas, and spreadsheets. You will also ensure accurate updates to council IT systems to support seamless service delivery.

This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage your daily tasks effectively while meeting service objectives. You will need excellent written and verbal communication skills to produce grammatically accurate meeting notes and respond professionally to telephone, email, and face-to-face queries. The ability to adapt to changing priorities and learn new systems and processes is essential, as is the resilience to handle sensitive and potentially disturbing situations with professionalism and integrity.

You will need four GCSEs (grades A-C or 4-9) including Maths and English, or equivalent qualifications, alongside relevant office experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook, is essential. Knowledge of systems such as SAP or Mosaic is desirable but not required.
