Job Description:
Due to the award of a new framework, they are currently seeking an experienced Projects Manager (Contracts Manager) to lead the SNG (Sovereign Network Group). The contract is a retrofit framework and and consists of external wall insulation (EWI), loft insulation, windows, and new roofs, with a contract value of £5 million per annum. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of the project and its potential growth, ultimately leading to more work with SNG.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the planned retrofit works on street properties and low rise blocks across North London.
- Lead a team of two Site Managers and two Resident Liaison Officers (RLOs).
- Collaborate with the visiting Operations Manager to ensure project objectives are met.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and successful project outcomes.
- Programming of works
- Contribute to the development and implementation of environmental targets, including Zero Waste, Zero Carbon, and Positive Nature Enhancement.
Requirements:
- Proven experience with projects within the construction industry, particularly in planned social housing refurbishments.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of environmental sustainability practices in the construction sector.
