Job title: Team Manager - Real estate
Salary: £40,000
Location: Chichester
PURPOSE OF ROLE
We are partnering with a respected Insurance Brokerage, to recruit an experienced Team Leader for their Real Estate division. This role offers the opportunity to manage high-value portfolios in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
You will lead a team of seven Account Handlers, overseeing renewals, revaluations, and cover queries, while ensuring compliance and maintaining exceptional data integrity.
SKILLSÂ
- Strong leadership and people management
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- High attention to detail and organisational skills
- Proficient in MS Office and broking platforms
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
EXPERIENCEÂ
- Experience leading a team in commercial insurance or real estate
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance
- Familiarity with managing large portfolios and client-focused solutions
QUALIFICATIONSÂ
- Relevant insurance qualifications (Cert CII, Dip CII, ACII) are a plus
DAY TO DAYÂ
- Oversee the team's workload and project management
- Act as the main escalation point for complex issues
- Monitor performance, conduct 1-2-1s, and manage appraisals
- Ensure compliance with internal processes and data accuracy
- Work closely with senior management to meet team goals
