PURPOSE OF ROLE

We are partnering with a respected Insurance Brokerage, to recruit an experienced Team Leader for their Real Estate division. This role offers the opportunity to manage high-value portfolios in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

You will lead a team of seven Account Handlers, overseeing renewals, revaluations, and cover queries, while ensuring compliance and maintaining exceptional data integrity.

SKILLS 

  • Strong leadership and people management
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • High attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Proficient in MS Office and broking platforms
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

EXPERIENCE 

  • Experience leading a team in commercial insurance or real estate
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance
  • Familiarity with managing large portfolios and client-focused solutions

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Relevant insurance qualifications (Cert CII, Dip CII, ACII) are a plus

DAY TO DAY 

  • Oversee the team's workload and project management
  • Act as the main escalation point for complex issues
  • Monitor performance, conduct 1-2-1s, and manage appraisals
  • Ensure compliance with internal processes and data accuracy
  • Work closely with senior management to meet team goals
