A growing Chichester area company are looking to strength the accounts team by recruiting a full time permanent in office Accounts Assistant.
Description
As Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for:
Data entry
Process customer invoicing
Process supplier invoicing to ensure accuracy against POs and quotes.
Manage bank activities including reconciliations of bank and credit card statements.
Compile weekly supplier payment runs
Prepare accounts reports
Assist in the preparation of monthly Management Accounts.
Credit control and administration functions across all departments to ensure payments are collected in a timely manner.
Profile
Qualification to AAT level 3 required, or currently studying AAT.
Experience in a finance role preferable, but not essential. Previous experience of Xero beneficial.
Excellent reporting skills, a keen eye for detail. Advanced Excel experience preferable.
Able to efficiently use Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
