Food/FMCG business requires an S&OP Manager to build and optimise planning processes. Applicants need; demand planning or S&OP experience gained within either Food or FMCG. Candidates from a Business Intelligence background will also be considered.

The S&OP Manager will be supported by a team of 2 Planners and will be responsible for leading all demanding planning, S&OP and forecasting activities for the business, both strategic and operational.

Specific duties of the S&OP Manager include:

  • Leading the S&OP process to ensure alignment between supply chain, demand planning, and production activities
  • Facilitating and coordinating monthly S&OP meetings
  • Collaborating with various departments to gather and analyse data for effective decision making
  • Developing and monitoring KPIs to measure the efficiency of S&OP activities
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain and demand planning processes
  • Ensuring accurate forecasting and inventory management to meet business goals
  • Lead, manage and mentor a team of 2.

S&OP Manager applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • Experience in a demand planning or S&OP role, at senior or strategic level
  • Previous experience within Food or FMCG sectors
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools, modelling and planning software
  • Capable of driving change, process and continuous improvement activities
  • Collaborative, open and communicative team player
  • Ability to manage senior stakeholders and work cross-functionally
