- Behaviour Management: Implement a range of positive behaviour strategies, with an emphasis on de-escalation techniques and trauma-informed approaches.
- Assessment & Reporting: Regularly assess and report on students' progress, setting individual goals and providing updates to parents and relevant professionals.
- Multi-Disciplinary Collaboration: Work with the school's multi-disciplinary team to ensure holistic support for students' social, emotional, and educational needs.
- Safeguarding: Uphold the highest standards of safeguarding, promoting the welfare of all students.
- Professional Development: Participate in ongoing training to deepen skills in SEN teaching, particularly in areas such as Non-Violent Communication and trauma-sensitive practices.
- Reflection & Training Time: Every Friday afternoon is allocated to training, team reflection, and development, with student contact ending at 12 pm.
