Position: Field Service Engineer / Technician

Job Scope:
As a Field Service Engineer/Technician, you will provide on-site support for Naval and Commercial vessels, conducting installations, troubleshooting, and acceptance tests worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel within the UK and internationally, with short trips (up to 2 weeks).
  • Perform service interventions, including installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
  • Complete detailed service reports and communicate technical issues to management.
  • Support the Customer Services Technical Helpdesk as needed.
  • Adhere to Health and Safety regulations.
  • Complete required training and be available for overtime when necessary.

Requirements:

  • Ability to read technical manuals and knowledge of computer hardware/software and basic networking.
  • Self-motivated with a full driving license and valid passport.
  • Experience in field servicing, preferably in the marine sector.

Qualifications:

  • ONC qualification preferred, working towards Tower Climbing & Rescue Certificate.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to carry a toolkit (up to 10 kg), navigate tight spaces, and work at heights (up to 70 meters).
