Job Title: Locum Neuro Speech and Language Therapist (2 Vacancies)
Locations: Chigwell (New Clinic) & Sawbridgeworth
Contract: Locum, Full-Time / Part-Time (Flexible Hours Available)
Salary: Enhanced rates of 35-39 per hour (Band 7)
Our client, a leading private healthcare provider, are seeking two dedicated and experienced Locum Neuro Speech and Language Therapists to join their specialist team. With two exciting opportunities, one based at our brand-new, state-of-the-art clinic in Chigwell and the other in our established clinic in Sawbridgeworth, this is an excellent chance to make a significant impact on patient outcomes and contribute to the growth of our service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Apply specialist skills in managing complex neuro cases, including acquired communication and swallowing disorders.
* Design and implement culturally and linguistically appropriate treatment strategies for diverse client populations.
* Manage a dynamic caseload, performing thorough assessments and targeted treatment plans for dysphagia.
* Conduct audits and contribute to innovative research projects, driving improvements in neurorehabilitation therapy.
* Work collaboratively with patients and their families, providing support and education as needed to enhance treatment effectiveness and engagement.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
* Band 7 Level Practitioner or equivalent
* HCPC registration (Health and Care Professions Council)
* Demonstrable experience in managing neuro caseloads, with a focus on dysphagia assessment and treatment
* Proven ability to work compassionately with families, fostering an inclusive and supportive therapeutic environment
* Evidence of continuing professional development in relevant areas, showcasing commitment to clinical excellence
