An exciting seasonal opportunity has arisen within our Lacock branch to be part of an inspirational team as a Seasonal Assistant in our Garden furniture/Christmas Department.
The ideal candidates will have a passion for customer service, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and great motivation are essential to create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
This will include working every weekend.
- Ensuring all customers are greeted and offered assistance
- Handling customer queries courteously and efficiently
- Identifying customer needs through interaction, and taking appropriate action
- Maintaining good, up-to-date knowledge of the layout of the centre and department
- Understand the garden furniture and accessories product ranges and keep up to date with product changes
- Excellent standard of merchandising and housekeeping are established and maintains in accordance with company guidelines
- Ensure personal compliance with Whitehalls H&S guideline
- Packing of goods is carried out in a professional manner taking care not to damage items.
- Maintains a harmonious and cooperative relationship with staff, managers and third parties
- Trolleys and baskets always available
- Putting out stock, ensuring areas are kept tidy and stock is presentable to the customers cleared priced.
- This position does involve assisting in the lifting of furniture at times.
