My client is a leading sub-contractor in Chippenham seeking a Site Engineer for a 12-month contract on a highways and structures project.
The role requires managing all engineering aspects of the highways and bridges package, including site setup and compliance with health and safety regulations.
Candidates must have a CSCS card, and while an SMSTS or SSSTS certification is desirable, it is not essential.
Previous highways engineering experience and a degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent time-served experience are required.
The position offers a competitive salary of £40,000 to £50,000 per year, depending on experience.

Site Engineer Responsibilities:

Reporting and working with the Project Manager and foreman.
Site set up and compliance with health and safety
Completing all setting out associated to the highways & bridges package.
Quality assurance & control.

Site Engineer Requirements:

CSCS card.
SMSTS or SSSTS – Desirable, not essential.
Previous highways engineering experience.
Degree in Civil Engineering or Time Served.
